SSCL’s story time to be aired live, Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 am.

June 18, 2020June 18, 2020

Patsy Baldus, former teacher & local author of “Love, Lutefisk and Lemon Zest Sneakers” will host this Saturday’s Story Time, broadcasting live from Mary’s Room, Stockton Springs Community Library.

The book selection is “Anansi and the Moss-Covered Rock” by Eric A. Kimmel with illustrations by Janet Stevens. This is a tale of a naughty spider!

Patsy will demonstrate a simple moving spider craft that kids can do at home, read this charming story aloud (be prepared for some surprises) and then explain to kids how to write their own Ansani stories. We hope every child who watches will write their own Ansani story to bring to the Library where it will be hung on the wall of Mary’s Room for others to read.

To attend this online event, just go to SSCL’s Facebook page at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 20, 2020. The event will last about 30-35 minutes. You can also bookmark and share this link. https://www.facebook.com/StocktonSpringsCommunityLibrary/live/ Commenting on Facebook during the event will be allowed, but comments may be held until the end.

A recorded video of the live performance will be available to view again on our Facebook Page and website.
