SSCL Celebrates Our 25th Anniversary!
The Stockton Springs Community Library is celebrating its 25th Anniversary on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The community is invited to join the festivities while supporting the library's ongoing programs and services. Festivities include light refreshments, games and activities, music from Midcoast Ukes, and a silent auction. Visitors can purchase raffle tickets in advance or on the day of the event. Sarah Nickerson is a local artist who writes and paints, but is best known for designing and hooking rugs. Her work has been featured in the Boston Globe and other publications as well as on television. A variety of her work is on display and is available to purchase. Author Visit - Patsy Baldus at SSCL
Author Patsy Baldus Patsy Baldus has spent most of her life in midcoast Maine and visited us on April 12. For thirty-three years, she shared her passion for writing through humor and storytelling with her students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Her enthusiasm for life still shines through her weekly age-defying dance classes. Patsy's love for gardening and cultivating teddy bear sunflowers inspired her latest picture book, Sunny Bear and the Secrets of Sunflowers.
