Scott Moore's Paintings on Loan to SSCL
Scott Moore was born in Washington D.C. in 1953. Both of his parents were professional illustrators. In 1969, the family moved to Rockland, Maine. Peter attended the Portland School of Art (now Maine College of Art) and graduated in 1978 with a major in painting. Scott's work has been exhibited throughout New England, as well as in Charleston, South Carolina and in the Washington area. Painting has been his principal source of income since the early 1990s. Knitting and CraftingGroup
Join us as we work on our projects. We are a group of knitters and crafters who like to socialize while we create. We meet from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month in the Reading Room at SSCL . All skill levels and crafts are welcome. We knit, crochet, hook rugs, and sketch designs for stained glass projects Average attendance is 8-10 people, but we have had as many as 16. The Stockton Springs Community Library is delighted to announce that we will be hosting a "Make and Take" Lego Club from 3:30-5:00 pm . You will make your own creations and take them home to share with family and friends. This program dates are: Wednesday January 21, 2026 Wednesday February 18, 2026 Wednesday March 18, 2026. Peter Walls' Paintings on Loan to SSCL
Peter Walls is a Maine-based artist whose home and studio are located in Stockton Springs, Maine. Peter collaborates on private and public projects, including murals, throughout New England, and has been an exhibiting studio artist for the past 29 years. Enchanted by the Maine landscape, Peter is primarily known for his shaped panel paintings, decorative artwork, and public murals.
