5th Annual PIE & ART FESTIVAL at Stockton Springs Community Library – August 18

The Stockton Springs Community Library will present the 5th Annual PIE & ART FESTIVAL on Saturday, August 18th from 9 AM until 2 PM at the library on the corner of Main St. and Station St. in Stockton Springs. This annual fundraiser for the all-volunteer library has become one of the favorite summer events in the area.

There will be a wide variety of homemade pies, both sweet and savory available for purchase.

Artists participating will include Judy Belasco, Mary Brann, Blueberry Bay Beads, Sarah Faragher, Lorna Fencik, Scott Moore, Harriet Seekins, Betty Schopmeyer, Anne Spencer, Sandra Strahan, Peter Walls & sons Jacob and Tommy, Anne Marie Walsh, Whimsical Allure, and more.

Everyone is invited to the Pie and Art Festival, so come to the Stockton Springs Community Library on Saturday, August 18th!

Come early to be sure you’ll have your choice of pies and art!

The 3rd Annual “Great Event” Community Yard Sale in Stockton Springs Space Rental Begins

It’s time to reserve your space for the giant yard sale in Stockton Springs coming September 8th!

Stockton Springs Community Library (SSCL) will host the 3rd annual GREAT EVENT on Saturday, September 8th and space rentals for the Giant Yard Sale have begun. Mark your calendars and SAVE THE DATE for the Giant Yard Sale, Barbecue, Bake Sale, Homemade donuts, Children’s Events, and much more!

The town of Stockton Springs will once again be filled with festivities on Saturday, September 8th and everyone is invited to join in the celebration to be held on the grounds of the library and the Stockton Springs Town Office. Last year’s event was a great success and we expect that all 25 of the spaces will be rented, so sign up early.

Rental of space at the Giant Yard Sale has begun. Crafters are also welcome. Spaces are approximately 10’ x 15’. Cost is $35, $30 if reserved before July 1st. You may bring your own table or you can rent a table for an extra $5. The GREAT EVENT will happen rain or shine. To reserve your space you must fill out an application and pay in advance either by check or cash. Come to the library during open hours to pick up an application.  Library hours are Monday 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Thursday  9:00 am – Noon and 6:30 – 8:30 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

17th Annual Book, Bake, and Plant Sale at Stockton Springs Community Library June 2nd

On Saturday, June 2nd from 9 am to 2 pm the Stockton Springs Community Library will host its Annual Book, Bake, and Plant Sale at the library on Main Street in Stockton Springs.

Library volunteers are busy dividing perennials for this popular fundraiser. There will be a wide variety of flowers and herbs to brighten your gardens. You can stock up on books for summer reading while snacking on delicious homemade baked goods. There’s always a great variety of sweet and savory baked goods available. Also for sale will be DVDs, VHS films, and audio books.

The Stockton Springs Community Library was founded in 2001 and is located in the historic Colcord House, which is owned by the Stockton Springs Historical Society. The library is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and new volunteers are always welcome.
