Annual Summer Reading Program “Libraries Rock” for Children Begins June 26th at SSCL

The Stockton Springs Community Library (SSCL) will begin its summer reading program for children on Tuesday, June 26th from 9:30 to 11:30 am and will take place every Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 am through July 31st. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock!” 

There will be stories, games, snacks, and lots of fun!

Tuesday, June 26th will be an introduction to the program. There will be a skit, story, and snack, and participants will create their own story log. In addition to stories, snacks, and activities, each week will have a special theme:

On July 3rd there will be stories, snacks, and instrument making.

On July 10th the theme will be “Sounds of Nature.”

On July 17th the theme will be “Science.”

July 24th theme to be announced.

July 31st will be a special Street Party and Barbeque with special guest mime Scott Cannon from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. (There will not be a morning program that day).
